Last month, a taxi driver contacted the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sudogodsky District, saying that money had been stolen from him.
The victim explained that he was fulfilling the order – he was delivering a woman from Vladimir to the Sudogodsky district. And some time after the client left the vehicle, he discovered that 4,400 rubles had disappeared from his wallet.
Police officers identified the passenger. She turned out to be a 33-year-old resident of the Sudogodsky district.
The woman confessed to stealing the money when the driver got out of the car to refuel the vehicle. The defendant compensated the material damage caused to the man.
A criminal case was opened against the woman on the fact of theft.
